On Monday, I worked with animator Anna Aroussi at Axminster Primary School with years 3 and 4 to create monoprints and a short film clip. The children created their own printed carpet designs onto fabric and paper and they worked together using perspex and their cut-paper shapes to make a stop-motion pattern.
They’ll be able to come and see their work displayed at Axminster Heritage Centre on Saturday 30th September for our celebratory event.
In the meantime, I’m replacing the projector … for the third time in two weeks!! Old damp dye houses and technology don’t mix well.
